I an interested in starting something local, I live just outside Worthing in West Sussex, and as a former member of the Party and member of a couple of committees, I know a lot of disgruntled Tories. Voters, members and councillors. And MPs, but they are useless.

I have marketing experience (International telecoms services.), and I am married to a publicist who ran the Granada TV International press office for 11 years and her own PR firm for eight.

My wife and I ran the first and second Convoy for Heroes events, raising £26,000 for Help for Heroes, so some experience with dealing with volunteers. (Herding cats)

We are both writers and run a small editing business, but in my defence, I have not checked this properly so don’t complain.

If we can help, we will.
